SYSTEMS XCELLENCE ANNOUNCES NEW SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVEMILTON, Ontario May 27, 2004, Systems Xcellence Inc., ("SXC") (TSX: SXC) a leading provider of healthcare information technology solutions throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain, today announced that Michael Meyer has been named Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the Company. Mr. Meyer is a 20 year veteran of the pharmacy benefits management (PBM) industry and previously held executive level positions at two top tier PBMs. Based out of SXC's U.S. headquarters in Lombard Illinois, Mr. Meyer will be responsible for directing the sales and marketing activities for the entire portfolio of SXC products and services. In addition, he will play a key role on the executive team in helping to refine the company's strategic direction and strategies. Prior to his tenure at Caremark, Mr. Meyer served in executive sales roles at Premier Partners, PCS Health Systems and Allscripts.
