Lisle, Illinois, April 28, 2008 - SXC Health Solutions, Corp. (“SXC” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: SXCI, TSX: SXC), a leading provider of pharmacy benefits management services, announces that it has been notified by a State Medicaid program that it has the leading competitive bid to be considered for the awarding of a three-year $35 million Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) contract.
While there is no assurance as to when, if at all, a contract will be awarded to the Company, the contract would be for three years with an expected launch date of October 1, 2008, and would include two one-year extension options. Further details of the anticipated contract will be available if executed.
